Definitions
We, us, Pets Direct
: Pets Direct (Beth and Peter Burton trading as)
Scheme: The Pet Treat loyalty scheme offered by us.
Points: Pet Treat Points in the Scheme


Data Protection Statement
We would like to use your details provided on the application form or otherwise, plus details on what you buy to:
Help manage the scheme and improve the way we run it
Understand our customers' shopping habits to improve our service
Unless you indicate otherwise, contact you with offers and information about products and services of interest to you and your family
We will not share or sell your details.
We may use and share information relating to groups of customers, without identifying individuals, to learn more about customer behaviour and find ways of enhancing our service.


 General Conditions
1) Nothing in these conditions shall affect your statutory rights, including where applicable, your rights under distance selling regulations.
2) All goods remain the property of Pets Direct until paid for. Where goods are delivered or released prior to payment, payment is due within eight days and unless a further delivery is due within that time it is the customer's responsibility to forward payment to Pets Direct's shop or bank account. Accounts unpaid will attract a charge of £5.00 for each letter or visit requesting payment.
3) If goods are ordered with payment due on delivery, but no reply is received at the delivery address or payment is not available, then it shall be at the discretion of our driver whether goods are left.
4) Our free delivery service is offered with deliveries on specific days dependant on area and only within our defined delivery area. However we reserve the right to refuse to deliver to any person, address or area without any obligation to give a reason. Whilst any such decision would normally be taken and advised in advance of the anticipated delivery date, we reserve the right to suspend delivery without notice where concern for personal or vehicle safety arises.
5) We reserve the right to offer 'Special Offer' or 'Clearance' items in our shop on a collection only basis.
6) A deposit may be requested when non-stock items are ordered.


The Scheme

7) The Scheme account and any identifying card are issued by and remain the property of Pets Direct which reserves the right, at any time without notice, to: (a)terminate the scheme; (b)decline to open an account; and (c)on reasonable grounds, withdraw or cancel an account or points collected, or to alter or amend the conditions of operation of the scheme. Reasonable grounds include (i) any abuse or attempted abuse of the scheme, or (ii)any use or attempted use of an account or points in a manner which is contrary to these terms and conditions or (iii)any reasonable suspicion of dishonesty on the part of a member in connection with the scheme.
8) All participants in the scheme must be resident in the UK.
9) The account is not transferable, and can only be used by the person whose signature is on the application or by any member of their immediate family who is resident at the same address, as registered.
10) Members may be removed from the scheme at any time at the discretion of Pets Direct.
11) Your account can only be used at Pets Direct, Poole and for deliveries ordered from us.
12) The scheme is only for personal and consumer use. Points cannot be transferred, sold or in any way traded. They may only be pooled by members with the same postal address.
13) Your account cannot be used for any transaction where the beneficiary is a business and/or the owners of a business. 
Points
14) To collect points for a transaction in-store, your account name or number must be stated at the checkout. Points on purchases made for delivery will be allocated automatically.
15) Points will not be given for purchases made of Gift Vouchers. Other products may also be excluded from the scheme at the discretion of Pets Direct.
16) You must also spend at least £2.50 in a single transaction for the transaction to qualify for points. Then one point will be awarded for every £1 that is spent. This can be altered at the discretion of Pets Direct. We shall be entitled to set a limit on the number of points which may be awarded to each account in respect of special promotional items on which additional points are awarded. We shall be entitled at any time to cancel points awarded if the relevant products to which such award relates are returned or cancelled for any reason and a refund of the purchase price is given or if the relevant products are exchanged for other products, unless such exchange is for products with an equivalent points value. Where the relevant products are exchanged for products of a lower points value we shall be entitled to cancel the balance of points between those originally collected and those collected in respect of the replacement products.
17) Pets Direct shall be entitled to cancel any points awarded where payment for the goods is not received within eight days or where a cheque tendered for payment is returned unpaid by the bank on which it is drawn.
18) The current redemption value of points is one point equals one penny. We reserve the right to vary the rate at any time. 

Rewards
19) Points may be redeemed against the purchase of treats, toys and other hardware items such as leads, collars, beds, cages etc. The eligibility of any product for inclusion in the scheme shall be at the discretion of Pets Direct. This may be advised by notice on our website, in our shop or by any other means we may from time to time use.
20) Points may not be redeemed for cash. 

General
21) The promoter of the Pet Treat Points loyalty scheme is Pets Direct (a partnership - Beth and Peter Burton trading as) of 5 The Parade, Waterloo, Poole, Dorset BH17 7EZ.  VAT Regn 665 1796 02
